Based on the fuel cell and cogeneration technologies the Energy Conversion Research Laboratory has established, efficient total energy systems, also known as "energy box" technology, are being researched and developed. In addition, the Laboratory is now working on clean, high-capacity energy storage system technology for environmental conservation. The Laboratory's ongoing R&D will prove valuable in the near future, when thermoelectric energy systems will represent a global standard. |
