Resistance Separation Evaluation Technology

Separation analysis of battery resistance due to positive and negative electrodes
and electrolyte solution (separator)

Improved resistance separation analysis technology based on
KRI’s original "four-electrode cell" and "current-rest-method"

The evaluation of the resistance, which is closely related to the output, has become essential in the development of high output electric energy storage devices; a field that has been gaining momentum recently. In particular, there has been increasing importance on conducting detailed separation evaluation of the resistance with respect to positive and negative electrodes and the electrolyte solution (separator). Taking advantage of several technologies such as the four-electrode cell*, "current-rest-method"*, impedance analysis, and electronic/ionic conductivity separation analysis, KRI can conduct a detailed separation evaluation of the resistance with respect to the positive and negative electrodes and the electrolyte solution (separator), and can clarify the problems with the resistance.
