Dry Electrode Technology that Contributes to CO₂ Reduction

KRI responds to the practical application and the next-generation battery.

Dry Electrode Process

39% of the cost involved in manufacturing lithium-ion batteries comes from the drying process, and so the dry electrode process, which does not require solvent drying, is attracting attention.

KRI 's PTFE Binder-based Dry Electrode Manufacturing Technology

KRI is able to manufacture high-strength and flexible dry electrode films by controlling the compounding and mixing methods of the active material, conductive agent and binder, as well as the fibrillation and rolling methods.

Proposal from KRI

KRI has the technology and equipments to handle dry electrode material, prototyping, electrochemical property evaluation, etc.
We can also accommodate material specifications from clients.

  • •Evaluation of dry electrode fabrication Positive and Negative electrodes, Binder and Conductive marerials
  • •Evaluation of all-solid-state battery applications
  • •Scale-up evaluation of dry electrode processes
We have a dry room, so experiments can be conducted in a low humidity environment.
